Unleash The Best Friend You’ve Ever Had

Certified Dog Trainer

Mutts Manners and Obedience offers one-on-one, in-home training in The Dandenong Ranges and Outer Eastern Suburbs.
We can travel further by negotiation.

Whether you have welcomed a new puppy, adopted a dog from a shelter or rescue, or are having difficulties with your older dog, learning to speak the same language is essential to forging a healthy and respectful relationship for all of you. Training is as important as all other aspects of the care we give to our animals.

A well-mannered dog is a happy and confident dog, one you can include in all aspects of your life.

Does your dog display the following behaviours?

Our training is not exclusive to the above list, please let Sally know of any other behaviour issues you are experiencing with your dog

What we do...

Mutts Manners and Obedience can help you lay the foundations of good behaviour by simplifying how you communicate with your dog. This will help your dog to listen to you, even when there are tempting distractions around him.

Teaching basic commands like Sit and Stay, Drop and Stay, Recall to Name, Walking on lead without pulling and Walking to heel

Problem Behaviours

Why train your dog with Mutts Manners and Obedience

We help you teach your dog basic commands, to help improve their behaviour and learn how to listen to you no matter what.

Through our training programmes, you can develop a better understanding of your dog’s behaviour and body language. This will improve your communication and strengthen your bond

We help you teach your dog appropriate behaviour around people and other dogs and to respect boundaries put in place to keep everyone safe.

Teaching your dog a reliable recall and the ability to stay in a sit or drop when asked will keep them safe in potentially dangerous situations

Training can provide mental stimulation and a sense of accomplishment for your dog, which can help prevent boredom and destructive behavior.

A well-trained dog is generally happier and more relaxed, which can lead to a better quality of life for your dog and create a well balanced bonding relationship with you.

Having a well behaved dog that listens well not only boosts their confidence, but yours too, thus creating a happier and more relaxed life and a trusting relationship.
